It seems like
there are more televisions in the world then there are people. For as many sets
as there are there are plenty of nick names for it: TV, T.V. Boob Tube, Telly,
Idiot box, the baby sitter… Whatever you and your friends and family call it
we call it the best invention since it’s self! Before the late 1930’s most
homes didn’t own a television set, let alone multiple sets or one that broadcast
is color!
Well the times
sure have changed since it was introduced into our homes… one thing that hasn’t
changed is our demand for quality shows and programming.
We’ve focused our
effort on putting together a collection of the greatest posters in the history
of television. You can find everything from I love Lucy and Charlie Chaplin,
through The Simpsons, and the Sopranos.
Watching the “Box”
is almost as good as going to the movies what with the HDTV, and the production
value of shows such as 24, Lost, and Entourage. The shows look amazing…and so
too should the posters that immortalize these masterpieces.
Laugh with
meat-heads on My Name is Earl and the Goofs in The Office or pick up a Knight
Rider Poster and make your friends jealous… Why wouldn’t you?
