There are bad cops and there are good cops - and then there's Bullitt.

Based on the 1963 novel, "Mute Witness" written by Robert L. Fish, and starring Steve McQueen in the title role, Bullitt tells the tale of a Police Lieutenant assigned to protect a mob informant from certain death. Bullitt is most remembered for its car chase zooming past some of San Francisco's most famous landmarks.  Said to be one of the first of its kind, this chase influenced many of today's high-action scenes.
