Based on a True Story.
Adapted from George Porter's 1993 novel, the 2001
film
BLOW depicts the life-story of an American
cocaine smuggler, George Jung, and his ties to the Columbian Medellin Cartel.
Set in the '70s complete with tacky wardrobe and great tunes, Johnny Depp
captures the essence of the highs and lows of drug trafficking.
You know Mr. Depp can act. But did you know
that Pee-Wee Herman was in this movie? Of course you did! For some
reason this movie makes you really root for George and his coked up high flying
antics... Arlo Guthrie's song Los Angeles, is a great homage to the life and
times of George Jung. If you are going to put up a poster perhaps a Blow
poster would be a really good choice.
