Interestingly enough this quote comes from a film, which began as a 1940's newspaper comic strip about a young masked vigilante (in secret identity is the day time rookie cop Denny Colt) who, along with his friends combats the evil Octopus, arch enemy and master of disguise who constantly tries to blow up Central City. With the fantastic art work of Graphic Novelist Frank Miller, the film stars Gabriel Macht, Samuel Jackson, Eva Mendes as Sand Seref, the Spirit's childhood friend who ends up on the opposite side of the law than the Spirit, Scarlet Johansson, Paz Vega, and Sarah Paulson. The newspaper version of this comic strip may have controversial figures like Ebony White, the Spirit's sidekick, but the blockbuster remake is something to enjoy at a wide screen experience.
