Egyptians were the first civilization to tame cats (around
3000 BC). They were originally used to catch pests. Cats spend
nearly 30% of their life grooming themselves. When cats rub against the
legs of their owners, it is not a sign of affection, but of ownership.
Cats are like many things... they are love hate. You either love or hate
cats... and sometimes that changes on a daily basis... but for those of us who
are cat owners, forgive me, who are owned by cats, we have just kind of accepted
that the now run our lives... so pay homage to these fury felines by decorating
your walls with a kitten poster, or be destroyed when they all grow thumbs and
begin walking upright.
